Hole-in-the-Head

A condition, also linked to HLLE, that causes pitting and lesions on the head and lateral line.

It is associated with poor water quality, nutrition, and sometimes activated carbon use, especially in cichlids and marine fish. Improving diet and water often halts and reverses it.
