Swim Bladder Disorder

A buoyancy problem that leaves a fish floating, sinking, or swimming sideways.

Causes range from overfeeding and constipation to infection or genetics, and it is especially common in fancy goldfish and bettas. Fasting and feeding soaked or high-fiber food often helps mild cases.
