Peat swamp forests of Borneo, Indonesia and Malaysia

Needs soft, acidic water, ideally tinted with leaf litter or peat, to thrive and show color. Keep a school of 6 or more with dim lighting and plenty of plants. Much calmer than most barbs and a good fit with small peaceful fish.
