The Society leaderboard

The Leaderboard ranks Society members by the points they've earned on approved Breeder Award Program entries. Every point on it was earned on an entry other members verified; nothing is self-reported.

Where is the Society leaderboard?

Open the member area and click Leaderboard in the menu, or click the Leaderboard shortcut on Overview. The address is /society/leaderboard. Old club awards links (the club "awards" page) also redirect here.

Who can see the Society leaderboard?

Only Society members in good standing, because it's inside the member area. Signed-out visitors and non-members are sent to the Society page, and members whose dues have lapsed are sent to the membership page to renew.

What does the Society leaderboard show?

Members are listed from most points to fewest. Each row shows:

• Position: a crown for first place, then 2, 3, 4 and so on.
• Name: the member's real name from their profile (or their roster name if no profile name is set). If they have a username, the name links to their public profile.
• (you) after your own name, and your row is highlighted.
• Title: their current title from the Society's title ladder, if they've earned one.
• Points: their total approved points.

How are Society leaderboard points counted?

Points come from approved Breeder Award Program entries: the species' point value (5 for Class A up to 40 for Class F), plus bonuses such as the +50% First in Society bonus, or a different value set by the judge with a note. Logs that are still in progress, in review, rejected or under appeal don't count. See Breeder Award Program.

Why am I not on the Society leaderboard?

The leaderboard lists members with approved points. If you haven't had an entry approved yet, you won't appear. On Overview, your Rank shows a dash until you have points.

How do ties work on the Society leaderboard?

Members with the same points are listed next to each other with consecutive positions. The leaderboard doesn't show shared positions.

What does the empty leaderboard mean?

If no one has an approved entry yet, the page says "The board is empty" and "Nobody has an approved entry yet. First one on the board sets the pace for everyone who joins after."

Where else do my points and rank show?

• Overview: your Points and Rank, plus how many points you need for your next title.
• Member area menu: your title under your name.
• Your public profile: the Society card shows BAP points and your title.

Can I hide myself from the Society leaderboard?

There's no setting to hide yourself. If you have a reason to be left off, email support@undergroundaquarium.com.

Common problems

My points didn't go up after approval. Reload the page. Points count once the entry's status is Approved. If it still looks wrong, email support@undergroundaquarium.com with the species and date.

The name shown isn't the name on my member card. The leaderboard uses the name on your site profile. Change it in your profile settings (see Editing your profile). Your roster name is changed separately (see Leaving the Society, which also covers editing your details).

I can't open the leaderboard. Your dues may have lapsed. See Society dues and renewal.
