Free posters, website badge and share links
The Promotions tab in your shop dashboard is a free marketing kit made for your shop. As the page says: "Print what you want, hand it out, stick it in the window. Each one carries your own QR code, so a scan lands on your page. We don't sell anything or take a cut."
What's on the Promotions page?
Three sections:
- Posters: four printable PDFs, each with your shop name and QR code
- Your website: a badge you can paste onto your own site
- Tell your customers: a ready-made post and your page link to copy
How do I download a poster?
- Open Promotions in your shop dashboard.
- Pick a poster and tap Download PDF for the standard version, or Dark for the dark version.
- The PDF downloads to your device. Print it or send it to a print shop.
Each poster is a full US Letter page, "with your shop name across the top and your QR code in the middle," written for someone already standing in your shop. The standard version is plain white paper and light on ink, made for an ordinary inkjet. The Dark version is meant for a print shop or showing on a screen.
What do the four posters say?

Every poster also prints your shop name, your town and your page's web address under the QR code.
Where does the QR code go?
Every poster's QR code opens your shop's page on Underground Aquarium. The four posters differ in what they ask people to do once they're there (save the page, tap the heart to follow, scroll to Reviews, or explore the free guides), but the code itself goes to the same page on all of them.

Will my poster still work if I change my shop details?
Yes. The QR code goes to your page, not to a copy of your details, so edits to your hours, phone or photos show up for anyone who scans an old poster. If your shop name or town changes, download a fresh poster so the printed text matches.
How do I add the badge to my website?
- Open Promotions and find Your website ("Paste this anywhere on your own site. It shows a badge that links back to your page.").
- You'll see a preview of the badge (a dark rounded box reading "Find us on Underground Aquarium") and the code under it.
- Tap Copy the code. The button changes to Copied for a moment.
- Paste the code into your website where you want the badge. Most website builders have an "HTML" or "Embed" block for this.
The badge is 240 by 64 pixels and links to your shop's page. Tapping it opens your page, and those visits count toward your page views.
How do I share my page on social media?
Under Tell your customers ("Ready to paste into Facebook, Instagram or a text."), there's a short post:
"We're on Underground Aquarium. Our hours, directions, shop news and reviews are all there:" followed by your page link.
- Tap Copy the post to copy that whole message.
- Tap Copy your link to copy just your page's address.
Each button shows Copied for a moment when it works. Paste into your post, bio, email signature or text.
Is any of this paid?
No. The posters, badge and share text are free, as many copies as you like. There's nothing to buy and no upgrade.
Where should I put the posters?
The page suggests a spot for each: "Save us to your phone" by the door or register, "Know what just came in" above the tanks, "Leave us a review" at the register where customers are happy with what they just bought, and "Free help with your tank" by the starter kits.
Common problems
Download PDF doesn't seem to do anything. Check your downloads folder, or your browser's download bar. On a phone, the PDF may open in a new view with a share or save button.
"No such shop." when downloading. Your shop page isn't currently shown in the directory. Email support@undergroundaquarium.com.
Copy the code or Copy the post didn't show Copied. Your browser may be blocking the clipboard. Select the text by hand (press and hold on a phone) and copy it.
The badge shows as a broken image on my site. Make sure you pasted the whole code, from the opening "<a" to the closing "</a>", into an HTML or embed block, not a plain text block.
The QR code won't scan. Print at full size on plain paper, and make sure the code isn't creased or in glare. The standard version scans best on white paper.
